We are looking for a new team member to assist in fabricating and installing screen porches, window screens, screen doors, and various other porch related products. Training is provided. No screening experience is required.

Pay & Benefits

$18/hour during training
Pay Raise and Commission after you show proficiency (usually within 5 months)
6 Paid Holidays
5 days paid time off the first year, 9 days in year two, and 12 days in year four
Paid time off counts as 1 1/2 days if taken between Thanksgiving and February 28
Retirement plan with matching contributions available after 1 year

Hours/Schedule

7:30 AM to between 3:00 and 5:00 PM
Jobs are scheduled Monday - Thursday
Fridays are reserved for jobs that are rained out, disrupted, or incomplete earlier in the week
You may work more days/hours if you desire

What would you be doing?

Fabricating and installing window screens, porch screens, and other outdoor living products
Use power tools to cut and install screen frame
Roll screen mesh into frame using screen roller
Work in teams of two
Most work is done outside

Qualifications

Eager and able to learn
Able to use hand tools, chop saw, drills, and power tools or able to learn quickly
Read a tape measure
Comfortable working from an extension ladder 20' off the ground
Ability to meet physical demands of work - prolonged standing of up to 8 hours a day, lifting of cumbersome and heavy objects of up to 65 pounds for a distance of 50 feet, kneeling, climbing ladders, etc.
Attention to Safety and Detail
Works well with other team members and customers
Valid Driver's License
Proof of citizenship or right to work in the U.S.
Ability to pass a background check

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
